PollenMap is a reference and personal-tracking app for pollen allergies, built to work entirely on your device.
Your sensitization profile, symptom diary (including free-text notes), severity ratings, and personal sIgE lab values are stored only in local app storage. They are never transmitted anywhere by the app.
Forecast lookups send only a coarse region identifier (e.g. "northeast") to fetch that region's public pollen forecast — no device or personal identifier is attached. Push alerts are off by default; turning them on sends a random on-device identifier, your OS push token, your selected region, and the species you've marked yourself sensitized to, so the backend knows which pollen spikes should alert you. Turning alerts off deletes that record from the backend.
Crash reports include the error, its stack trace, the screen it occurred on, and standard device/app diagnostics — network-request breadcrumbs are dropped before sending, so the forecast URL (which contains your region) never reaches the crash reporter. Analytics, if enabled, use a fixed, closed list of anonymous event names; no event ever carries your clinical data, notes, lab values, or region.
There is no advertising and no sale of data.
