Verso — Privacy Policy

Verso is a local-first writing app for composing poems and exploring language. Verso does not collect, sell, share, or transmit personal data. Your writing stays on your device unless you choose to copy, export, or share it outside the app.

Data stored on your device

• Poem drafts, titles, lines, fragments, stanza settings, and composition modes
• Deleted lines and replaced words shown in the Witness panel
• Fragment snapshots and writing-history events used for time-lapse playback

On iOS and Android, this is stored in the app's local WebView storage (IndexedDB). Verso does not use analytics, advertising identifiers, tracking SDKs, account systems, cloud sync, or crash-reporting services.

Purchases

The premium unlock is processed by StoreKit (iOS) or Play Billing (Android). Verso receives no personal data from the transaction and stores only a local ownership flag on the device.

Device permissions

Verso does not request camera, microphone, contacts, photos, or location access.

Deleting your data

You can delete poems inside Verso where deletion controls are available, and remove all local data by uninstalling the app or clearing its storage through your operating system.
